Today is the day us pumpkin crazed fans waited all year for, the release of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. But wait there is a catch, in order to get your PSL before the official release date, which is scheduled for September 6, you have to either be a Starbucks Reward member. Or if you are not a Starbucks reward member you can just go to @TheRealPSL Instagram or Twitter account for a link to a code for early access. I know what you must be thinking isn't it easier just to wait 5 more days to get the drink when it is officially released, but my answer is "no way!" I am far to impatient to wait 5 days for a delicious pumpkin drink as good as the PSL is! -k.sha
I know what most of you are thinking isn't it a little early for pumpkin, well any true pumpkin fan would say no it's never to early for pumpkin! I just recently started getting into drinking Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and overall I have been impressed, so I've been patiently(or maybe impatiently) counting down the days until they released there pumpkin coffee. I was really excited to try it and see how it measured up against Starbucks. I ordered a Pumpkin Macchiato, because it sounded really different, and so far I have found that I like the Macchiatos the best at Dunkin'. The verdict: I was shocked, but in a good way, not that I didn't think it would be good, I was just surprised how different it tasted. The syrup seemed a lot thinner and had more of a spice to it. I honestly don't think I could pick which is better between the Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks Pumpkin drinks, it would really depend on my mood for the day to decide which one I got. -k.sha
The day is finally here, it's Christmas Eve!!! This year I wore a deep red burgundy velour dress I got last year from Aeropostale in the Bethany Mota section. I love this dress for Christmas, the back is low cut, and the fabric just looks so perfect at Christmas. With it I wore gold accessories, and my black flats with gold chains. I wore my hair half up half down and loose curls. I wore gold eyeshadow, and a red lip to finish off the look! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! -k.sha
Every year at Christmas time, me and my mom bake sugar cookies, it has become a tradition. This year I wanted to do something other than just plain sugar cookies, to make them taste more interesting and different, than the same old thing. Since I had just made Gluten Free Cranberry Bliss Bars, I was inspired to make Gluten Free Cranberry Bliss Sugar Cookies! These are really simple to make and are great if you don't like to eat gluten.
I don't know about you but I LOVE Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks! But since I try to minimize the amount of gluten in my diet, I never get them. So I came up with copycat gluten free recipe, that does not only taste similar to the original, but it is pretty easy to make. This is a great recipe to make around the holidays, or any time of the year when you want a gluten free sweet treat! To make the recipe simple I used Betty Crocker Yellow Gluten Free Cake Mix as the base, and then added all the other ingredients to it.
The Bliss Bar
Hello, if you read Hey it's K.sha last year you would know I love to collect Starbucks ornaments! I have been collecting the different coffee cup styled ornaments for years now, and last year I decided they needed there own tree. This year I got a new tree for my ornaments, form Prier 1 Imports, and I also got some new Starbucks ornaments! I like this tree better than the one I had last year because the branches are more speed apart so you can really see the ornaments, I also love the burlap bottom of the tree I really think it goes with the Starbucks theme. The new Starbucks Ornaments I purchased this year are some of my favorites, I got one that has two red kisses on and and say XOXO, one with a painted mermaid on it, another one that has mili-colored confetti on it, and the last one has the traditional Starbucks symbol on it and gold hearts. To finish the tree off I added red garland, red lights, and a gold tree topper, I really LOVE the way the tree turned out, and can't wait to keep adding new ornaments to it each year! -K.sha
Well hello there! I love anything gingerbread, it's one of my favorite parts of the season. Like pumpkin, I always am trying to find gingerbread flavored this and that, so I was really happy when I found Hammond's Gingerbread Caramel Marshmallow at Target. These gingerbread caramel marshmallows, are so good, they have marshmallow inside, then they are covered in caramel, but of course the best part is the gingerbread flavor throughout. They came in a two pack, Target also sold these caramel marshmallows in other flavors like Red Velvet. To me one of the best parts of this delicious sweet treat is it is Gluten Free! If you haven't tried Hammond's Gingerbread Caramel Marshmallow yet, what are you waiting for? -k.sha
This past week I finally broke down and bought some Pillsbury Grands Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls. I have been eyeing them since they hit the shelves, and I finally couldn't resit no more. Trust me I do not regret getting these Pumpkin Cinnamon Buns for one minute, they where delicious! I mean who doesn't love Cinnamon Buns to start with, then add in pumpkin in to mix and you have something truly amazing. They where warm, gooey, and a awesome pumpkin spice flavor, yum. You have to try Pillsbury Grands Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls! -k.sha
It is finally that time of year again, Starbucks has brought back their Red Cups which means that all your favorite seasonal drinks are now available to order! Today I ordered a Caramel Brulée Latte, a true favorite of mine. I wish this drink was on the menu all year long because it it truly delicious. As mush as I love a traditional caramel latte the favors in the drink are way more amped up, it almost has a burnt taste which may sound weird but it is oh so good! If you haven't tried the Caramel Brulée Latte yet now is the time, since it is only available through the season. -k.sha
Happy Halloween! So if you are in desperate need of a cheap, quick last minute costume then you are in the right place. For Halloween this year I dressed up as a cat, all I bought for this costume was the black cat ears which only cost $3 at Target. To start with I applied my foundation as normal, and then I decided to wear a coppery orange shade of eyeshadow to go with the Halloween theme.
Then I applied my black eyeliner in a cat eye shape, wore a lot of mascara, and filled in my brows. Next I took my black eyeliner and drew a cat shaped nose and some cat whiskers on my face. To finish hair and makeup I applied some deep plum lipstick, and then took my 3/4 inch curling iron to create a tight messy curl. For my outfit I just got some clothes I already owned in my closet. I wore a oversized black sweater, some black leggings, a black collar with some studs on it, and back boots. I really love the way this costume turned out, it was cheap, easy, and the end result of adorable! -k.sha
Hello, so with Halloween officially only one day away I couldn't think of anywhere better to go for lunch than IHOP, and order one of my favorites Pumpkin Pancakes! I love anything pumpkin as you are probably well aware of but IHOP's Pumpkin Pancakes are always at the top of my list. Today I ordered the combo which came with two Pumpkin Pancakes, two eggs, which I ordered fried hard, hash browns, and turkey bacon, and if you can believe it all that food was only $7.99! I love IHOP's Butter Pecan Syrup, and I think the Butter Pecan and Pumpkin flavors go together so well. So I like to lightly drizzled my pancakes with the Butter Pecan syrup. I love how flavorful the pancakes are you can really taste the pumpkin, and they are so moist! I never turn down and opportunity to go to IHOP and order Pumpkin Pancakes! -k.sha
I love Halloween, it is such a fun time of year! You get to dress up, eat candy and delicious pumpkin goodies, and decorate your pumpkin. Typically like most people I usually carve my pumpkin, but I hate how I have to wait so close to Halloween to do it, plus it is a mess that never turns out exactly how I wanted it to look. So this year I decided to paint my pumpkin, instead of just painting it alone I go this pretty awesome kit from Target, it had paint in it with rhinestones and stick on bats. The paint was almost metallic looking, and the bats are almost 3-D, since they stick out form the pumpkin. I loved the way this pumpkin turned out and I plan on buying a kit at Target like this again next year! -k.sha

I love ice cream, who doesn't? One of my favorite places to get ice cream from is Baskin Robbins, so when I heard they where coming out with a Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream for fall I knew I wanted to try it! This flavor consisted of pumpkin ice cream and cheesecake ice cream swirled together with ginger snaps cookie pieces and a cinnamon cream cheese. I really enjoyed this ice cream, the only thing I think I would prefer is if there was more pumpkin ice cream and less cheesecake ice cream. Have you tried Baskin Robbins Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream? If so did you like it? -k.sha
Hey all I don't know about you but I am all about pumpkin season, and one of my favorite parts has always been all the delicious pastries. But now that I am trying to eat mainly gluten free it makes it hard to find any pastries let alone anything pumpkin. Today I made Gluten Free Pumpkin Spice Cake Bites, to have on hand when I want a sweet treat. These actually started out as Pumpkin scones, but they turned out way better and more moist than scones, so I decided to call them cake bites. The two star ingredients of this recipe are Gluten Free Bisquick, and Libby's Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix. First preheat you oven to 425, then mix together your 16oz box of Gluten Free Bisquick with your 30oz can of Libby's Pumpkin Pie Mix, and add 1 teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice. Once you finish mixing take a pan and cover it in tin foil, then lightly spray with a cooking spray(I used Pam Coconut Oil, but whatever you prefer is fine). Next scoop some of your batter out, into small bite size pieces and place it onto the pan, then it is ready to be put into the oven for 15 minutes.
While your Cake Bites are in the oven cooking away to perfection, the next step is to make some Pumpkin Spice Glaze. This step is optional if you would prefer not to make the glaze you can sprinkle your Cake Bites with Powder Sugar. I actually did half of mine in the Pumpkin Spice Glaze, and half with Powder Sugar. For the Glaze all you need to do is mix together in a bowl 1 cup of Powder Sugar, 1 tablespoon of Pumpkin Spice, and 2 tablespoons of water. Around the time you finish your Glaze the Cake Bites should be done cooking, and be ready to remove from the oven. When you take the Cake Bites out of the oven let them cool before putting any Glaze, or Powder Sugar on top. I loved how these Gluten Free Pumpkin Spice Cake Bites turned out and I really hope you do too! -k.sha
So if you have already noticed(and I am sure you have) pumpkin season is my favorite time of year. Each year I like to try new pumpkin foods, but one pumpkin item that is always on my must get list is Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream! I am completely addicted to this stuff, it had an amazing pumpkin taste, and graham cracker swirl running through. Ben & Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream is definitely my favorite pumpkin dessert, you have to try it! -k.sha
Hey all! So yes I am still on my pumpkin everything kick, and today I found Limited Edition Pumpkin Corn Tortilla Chips by Archer Farms at Target. Yes I know what you are thinking, pumpkin tortilla chips sound like a odd combination, but if there is anything I have learned is that sweet and salty make THE best flavor combination. I really enjoyed these Pumpkin Tortilla Chips as you can tell form the picture above. They had all the same great flavor you love about tortilla chips, mixed with a delicious pumpkin flavor! I defiantly think you should head to Target and try these Archer Farms Pumpkin Corn Tortilla Chips, because they are limited edition, and I am sure when they are gone you are going to wish you had tried them! -k.sha
I don't know about you but I am the type of person who love to decorate for every holiday, including Halloween. I don't like to spend too much on decorations, since you only have it out for a sort amount of time each year. For year I have wanted a Halloween tree but they where always too expensive. This year I found a super cute little Halloween tree at Target for only $3. Though I loved the tree it needed ornaments which I ended up finding at Target, for $3 also! I am so pleased to have a super cute Halloween tree especially since I only sent a total of $6 for the whole thing! -k.sha
As you know I love Pumpkin everything, so when I was shopping in Target a few days ago and saw this Archer Farms Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Granola, and I really wanted to try it! I loved the taste of this granola it had a great pumpkin spice flavor without being to sweet. The granola can also be really filling so I just eat a few pieces for breakfast or for a snack. I love finding Pumpkin Spice things other than just desserts, so I don't have to worry about how many sweets I am eating. I am definitely enjoying this Archer Farms Limited Edition Pumpkin Spice Granola, my only complaint is it is limited edition and I will be sad when it is gone. -k.sha
I love pumpkin, so it was a no brainer when I went to Ruby Tuesday and saw there Pumpkin Cheesecake that I had to try it. I have had pumpkin cheesecake before at other restaurants, and places so I was excited to see how Ruby Tuesday's compared. It was truly delicious, it had a lighter feel than some of the other cheesecake I have had. It also had a great pumpkin flavor. The only negative I could have is since I am not a big fan of whip cream I would have preferred to not have it on there, it felt like it took away from the amazing pumpkin flavor. This Pumpkin Cheesecake from Ruby Tuesday was so good, and I defiantly hope to get another slice before the season is over. -k.sha
Hello. Something you probably don't know about me is I love Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats, I eat them all the time. I always keep a baggy of them in my purse and munch on them when I get hungry. So as you can guess, when I saw these Frosted Mini Wheats in the new Pumpkin Spice flavor I had to try them. Like all Frosted Mini Wheats I really like these, the Pumpkin flavor gives it a different taste. The Pumpkin Spice ones are a little more sweet than the originally Frosted Mini Wheats, but since I eat them as a snack I liked it. I hope Kellogg's continues to make the Pumpkin Spice Frosted Mini Wheats, because I defiantly want to keep getting them. -k.sha
Hello! You all probably know by now that the official release of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks isn't until September 8th, but a lot of Starbucks already have the ingredients to make the PSL now. So today I order my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of 2015, PSL is my favorite Starbucks drink, but this year Starbucks decided to change the recipe and use real pumpkin. This was supposed to make to PSL healthier, but it made me unsure if it would still have that same amazing taste I have grown accustom to drinking in the fall time. My verdict... it didn't taste that different to me, and that made me happy. The only difference I noticed was I kinda felt like the drink had a lighter feel to it, which I actually prefer. All the same pumpkin flavors still remained in this upgraded version of the PSL. This may have been my first Pumpkin Spice Latte for 2015, but it was so delicious I know it won't be the last. -k.sha
On my last trip to Target I got a whole bunch of Pumpkin Spice goodies, and one thing I found was these GoGo Squeez's in the flavor Apple Pumpkin Spice, yumm! I am actually a big fan of GoGo Squeez to begin with, they aren't just for kids school lunches. I find them to be super delicious, low in calories, a great quick snack that gives you a serving of fruit, and are great on the go. The Apple Pumpkin Spice GoGo Squeez, was all the things I love about GoGo Squeez, mixed with my love of pumpkin, which makes it perfect. You should defiantly try Apple Pumpkin Spice GoGo Fruit if you are a fan of pumpkin, and especially if you are looking for a healthy fast snack on the go. -k.sha
It's that time of year again, you guys know what I am referring to... PUMPKIN SEASON! Yes as you may have learned if you read my blog last year is that I do tend to go a little over board on all things pumpkin, and I hardly think this year will be any different. I have been on the hunt for pumpkin goodies for about a week now, and I know what you are thinking it's only the end of August, but all pumpkin fans know that the end of August is when you start to find pumpkin everything on the shelf. Today I was shopping at Target and I found all things pumpkin, including these Nature's Path Pumpkin Spice Waffles, what make these waffles so great to me is that they are Gluten Free, made with Quinoa, Amaranth, and Flax, so they are good for you. I loved these Pumpkin Spice Waffles, they had that great pumpkin spice taste that I love, and they weren't to sweet. I sprinkled I little bit of powdered sugar on top, instead of syrup, because I didn't want to take away from the great pumpkin taste. -k.sha
Hey All! Easter is right around the corner, and I can't wait! I am the type of person who loves to decorate for every occasion including easter, so this year I have been on the hunt for a Easter tree. I finally found one at Target and to my surprise it was only $3! It is so cute, it came little eggs on the branches, and a burlap bottom. I also picked up a pack of little egg ornaments from Target to add to it for only $1! I think this is a super cute way to decorate for Easter! -k.sha
